INTEL CORE I5-2500 DOESN'T HAVE THIS

This is too little information, at least for me.
As far as I know aside from speed there are no differences between 2400 and 2500.
Are you asking about the I5 2500K (unlocked multiplier, HD3000 video instead of HD2000)?

i just wanna knw about the embedded option availability .........is it good or bad?

embedded CPUs are surface mount and soldered, meaning you can order the 2400 stuck on a Mobo but not the 2500. Which is irrelevant in your case.

The 2500 is slightly better, but for the price, the 2400 is a better deal. K is a completely different deal though.

What is your complete build?
What do u plan to use it for?

To be frank, I've never like to see unbalance systems or overkill systems like an i7 with a GT220 used by an idiot to play Warcraft 3, it just makes my heart sore .......

i m an engineering student basically.
the boar intel dh67bl is already in my list.
:D

embeded means it comes stuck to the motherboard..........................

just grab the i5-2400, it's the best price/performance for none enthusiast, but to be honest, I think a i3-2100 is more than enough for you

no..... it doesn't mean what u told that it comes stuck....it has some other meaning.

.thanx for ur help.............but i got it now ....here it is...
embedded means that the processors is also used as a component of
other apparatus. So it doesn't mean soldered to the MB.

i agree with you......i will go for 2400.
