System:
Core i7-6850k @ 4.0ghz
64 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000mhz DDR4 (8x8GB Dimms) Quad-C
Asus Rampage V Edition 10
2x EVGA GTX 1080 FTW SLI
Evga 80mm HB SLI Bridge
Samsung 950 pro 512GB PCIe x4 M.2 (OS Drive)
Samsung 850 Evo 1TB SATA3 (Data Drive)
Corsair AX1200i PSU
Self built. all l seems to be working perfectly but unfortunately my PSU did not come with (due to packaging error I'm sure) a 4 pin CPU power connector so I am running my Broadwell-E 6850K w/ slight OC to 4.0 on a single 8 PIN EATX12v connector.
I live several hours outside of nearest place where I can acquire the aforementioned cable. Is this something I need to do urgently or am I ok with the CPU running off the the single 8 pin power connector while the 4 pin is not used?
Thanks in advance for any advice offered.
