Thanks guys for helping a noob at comp building.

Since you specifically requested an nVidia GPU and the difference between a 275 and a 4890 arent significant im not going to try to argue you out of it. Now you say you need everything im hoping you dont need a monitor correct? If you do an i7 is out of the question. Anyway the changes i would make to jbakerlent's build are combo the mobo and CPU, and a GTX275 only costs you $10 more

Everything else he suggested is good.

Im not saying i need a nvidia but most of the games i play recommend it. Does it really make a difference??

It can actually make a fairly significant difference depending on the game, check out the benchmarks for the games that you want to play, if they have no preference then the GTX275 will be right next to the 4890, but there are some games that prefer the nVidia architecture and will end up letting the GTX260 perform similarly to a 4890, so check and see which one your games will benefit most from.

antec 1200 is big, and pretty expensive..... but u can get good combos with it and other components.....
i reckon the antec 902...good size, pretty decent cooling..looks better than the HAF 932 (my opinion)

with MW2 it won't make much difference between cards, and you'll probably get above 50fps anyway since it runs on a 2 year old engine which is extremely well optimized for PC's..

Crysis 2 will probably prefer Nvidia in dual cards by a fairly large advantage (5-10fps), but for single cards they'll be pretty close for equivalent cards.

L4D is easy to get a high fps so I'd imagine L4D 2 will be the same.

for the battlefield series, if you mean BF: BC2, then it will depend if they use PhysX or not.
