In my BIOS my FX 8350 multiplier is at 4494mhz, and right below it, there is a CPB option enabled, what is it? Is it fixing my core clock to 4.2ghz default?

Solution
No, it basically shuts down half your cores when not needed and increase CPU clock to compensate. I recommend turning it off if you are overclocking

Yeah just turned it off but when I go to computer and right click and select properties the CPU clock is still showing as 4.2 ghz, is the system running at 4.4ghz as I told him and the OS is just saying the default setting?

Turn off settings in your bios such as Turbo Core, C6 and other power saving functions because that is what will screw up your overclock like what's happening at the moment

Do I have to turn off the "Keep Cool N Quiet" one? I turned it and C6 off and the system is saying that it's at 4.4 ghz as specified :)

Yes, absolutely that Cool N Quiet is one of the worst offenders (now named PowerNow) to overclocks
