Just bought Corsair 300R and waiting for the shipment.

But after my purchase I realized my MB (Asrock Z68 pro3) has 2 USB 3.0 ports only on the rear panel.
It has no onboard USB 3.0 connector but only 2 USB 2.0 headers.
So will I be able to use the 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the case? (even at usb 2.0 speed)
Do I need any extra part to be able to use them?

Appreciate very much for your help.

USB3 and USB2 are totally different connectors. While the same shape on the outside, the cable connector inside will not fit a USB2 port. There is hope. There are adapters. 20/19pin USB3 female to 10/9pin USB2 male. can be found at newegg, amazon etc $5+. This will convert the USB3 port to USB2 and be fully usable.

Most cases expose their USB 3.0 front panel ports as a pair of male to female extension cables. Motherboards that have onboard headers typically come with a 19 pin breakout cable which terminates as a pair of female ports for the front panel male connectors to mate with.

I can't be certain about the 300R, but my 800D is setup in this fashion.
