Corsair Vengeance 4x2 GB or G.Skill Ripjaws or Sniper 4x2 GB Ram?
Please suggest me a better RAM between these two. I do casual gaming and multitasking.I am preferring to go with Corsair. Just my random choice based on the ratings.

If you have the option 1866Mhz is the optimal speed for gaming. Otherwise, 1600Mhz is fine. Go with the set that is either lower in price or lower CAS latency (7 or 9 is faster than 10 or 11). Keep in mind that speed like 1600 or 1866 doesn't really effect price. It's the line that the DRAM is, the CAS latency, the number of GB on each modules, and the number of modules. Also consider which warranty you prefer more.

I've had a pair of G.Skill Ripjaws 4x2 GB 8, DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 total for 4 1/2 years, 7-7-7-10 timing and they're great. Price was awesome from newegg, hasn't failed me yet. While there's nothing wrong with the Sniper series because Corsair is just as good, I like G.Skill over them. Go with your favorite, :).

P.S. I'm also a casual gamer like yourself.

This really is up to you.
If you like Corsairs better then go for that.
There is no performance difference between those two so its only the matter of an opinion. I prefer G.skill ones :)

Cheers

i run two hyper x fury 4gb sticks at 1866 mhz no need to fill all of the slots plus you could upgrade to 16gb later i wouldnt reccomend either of these seeing as the hyper x fury kit has better performance for less cost, youre getting 1866mhz clock for about £55 which is a fantastic price i use the kit in my rig and i play battlefield 4 most demanding games such as arma 3 and it runs just fine.

hope this helps

(i know this wasnt the answer you were looking for its just my reccomendation)

Thanks for the help!
Just tell me one thing, there is one specified frequency(for eg. 1333Hz) and other is tested frequency(for eg. 1600Hz). My computer only supports till 1600Hz. Does it matter what is the specified frequency of any RAM because i think any RAM will run at 1333Hz despite its specified frequency and then we have to overclock it. And that overclocking limit i think is called the tested frequency. Am I right?

I haven't heard those terms before, but you have the concept down. Ram will usually default to 1333Mhz and then you turn up the clock speed via the BIOS to what the modules are rated for or you can pick which speed you prefer specifically. They do refer to this as overclocking your DRAM modules and will see '(O.C.)' by speeds when you look at the motherboard specs for memory compatibility.

To even start to give a half decent answer, need to know mobo and CPU, then would help to know the model #s you are looking at - in your opening question you talk about 4x2GB sets which would be an older rig, most mobos have accepted 4GB sticks going back to 2009 or so, so if newer straight off you should go 2x4GB instead
