Corsair 500R + new front fans

Hello

I am currently putting together my new pc and i've bought Corsair 500R and some noctua nf-p12 fans, i am trying hard to figure out how to replace the front fans, i've taken out the stock fans and installed the nf-p12's but i am not sure where to connect the cables? can anyone help out, never tried changing fans before 🙁

Either use the 3pin to connect the fan to the MB or use the 3pin to 4pin adapter ( comes with the fan) connect the fan to the PSU 4pin molex.

Does it matter which fan slot on the mb? Except the cpu fan slot of course. I don't think the cable is long enough the psu though, how about the fan controller on the front panel does it only works with the stock fans?

Don't matter which one, anyone except the one for cpu fan. But if you want to use the fan controller, you need to connect the fan into those 3pin connector for the controller.

I did try that but it appear that the 3pin on the nf-p12 is too big to fit in the 3pin connector to the panel, so i decided to go back to the stock fans in front and moved 1 nf-p12 to the rear and 1 in the top, unless i somehow can make it fit in the connector

Strange! The 3pin connector should have the standard size, do you try to contact Notua?

Not yet, wanted to ask here first and see if it's just me being a noob haha, but i guess i can try contact them to see what they say
