To anyone who owns this case - I need something clearing up as I'm a bit confused. I was under the impression the 'fan control' button increased the speed of the two front fans, but each setting I set it to there's no difference in speed whatsoever. Is this supposed to control the speed of the fans or just increase the voltage?

Thanks

Everybody make mistakes when building a PC, even i have. When i got my 760T case, it took me good 20mins to figure out how to remove 2nd HDD cage. Eventually i looked at the bottom of the case where i saw 4 screws that held the HDD cage in place. 😛

Oh, if it's not too much trouble, can you mount 3x 140mm fans at the top of your case?
On Corsair site, it's stated that both 760T and 780T only support 2x 140mm at the top.

I've managed to install 3x 140mm at the top by using rad mount holes to hold all my 3x 140mm fans at place.
760T and 780T are very similar by build quality vise and 780T should be able to support 3x 140mm at top. But i don't know that for sure, hence the question.
If your front stock intake fans (AF140L) are connected to the case fan controller then pressing the speed button on your front I/O regulates the voltage of connected fans. Higher voltage = faster spinning.

Do note that stock fans (AF140L) are quite crappy and you probably can't tell if the fans really do spin faster or not. Note: LEDs on AF140L do shine brighter when fan is spinning faster.

My Skylake build (full specs in my sig) sits in Corsair 760T case and i also have 3x AF140L fans with built-in fan controller. I ended up replacing my AF140L fans with Corsair ML140 fans for better airflow and static pressure.

Sorted it. I mistakenly connected the fans into the chasis fan connectors on the motherboard. They're all supposed to go into the fan connectors that are hooked to the fan controller on the other side of the tower. D'oh. 😛

Yeah, it took me a little time to figure out how things could be removed, such as the SSD bays on the other side of the case. Thanks to their placement I found it hard to get the SATA cables to reach.

I can't check at the moment, but I did look at trying to fit a spare fan, but it was a bit small. I think it said around all three gaps 120mm and 140.
