[SOLVED] Corsair AX 1600i cables. 2 different PCI-E types??

I have an RTX 2800 Super


The PCI-E cables that come with the 1600i have two different numbers on the type end. One says “34-0 00508”. And the other type says “34-0 00477”

Is there a specific type I need to use on my RTX?

Pictures? How many pins are on each? And why are you using a 1600W PSU for a single GPU system? You can run TR3990X + 4-5 GPU's on that much.

They are just typical 8 pin (6+2) typical PCI-E power cables. I just wanted to know why they have different numbers on them.

Also the 1600i has a zero RPM power mode and it doesn’t fire up until as much as 65% load. I am an obsessed quiet build freak

Either of the PCIe cables should work fine for the GPU.
You don't need an AX1600i to get silence. You can go buy an evga G2 or G3 and flip the Eco switch, basically making the fan not spin up at all. There are also decent 650-750W passive units which don't have a fan and are much cheaper than the AX1600i. But if you can't return it, then I guess keep it.

Those are Corsair part numbers for each cable.

You're asking the question is a weird way.

Of course PCIe cables are PCIe cables. Just some of the cables have two connectors and some have one; thus the different part numbers.

Ah thanks I get it now. One set is singular, the other is daisy chained. Thanks again!
