Corsair Carbide 200R HDD Mount Problem

Hello all, and thanks to all those who reply. I have recently purchased a computer case, ( Corsair Carbide 200R. ) Everything was as it should be. No shipping damage as far as I could tell. However, when I went to remove the box of screws and accessories, I noticed the HDD locking latch on the top most bay was a bit loose, noticeably more so than the three under it. I was wondering if any of you had had anything like this happen, or how prone to wearing out the locking mechanisms really are on the Corsair 200R. Besides this small problem, the case seems decent for the price. Again, thanks to all who reply, and have a nice day/night.

I don't won a case but I know for a fact that the latching mechanisms will break if given too much force. Corsair take good time to think/plan out how their cases are used while building. One of the moto's driving Corsair's case design department forward is ease of building so you can slide in a HDD and not worry about it coming apart or breaking unless you subject either the case or the latch or both with an unorthodox force.

If you're not populating the slot with the suspected flimsy latch then you can have all your 3.5" drives towards the bottom of the case to help with cable management and aesthetics in my opinion though.

If the issue is more than conventional, I think you should contact the cases seller or corsair about the issue and see if a replacement part(SSD/HDD caddy) can be shipped out to your location.
