RAM: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9-Vengeance-Performance-Desktop/dp/B004CRSM4I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395523473&sr=8-2&keywords=ram

Right, I have just installed this new ram, but I an't boot past the windows loading screen on windows 7. It freezes just before the windows logo appears. SO I tried to run memtest 5.1, but that freezes after 1 second. Is there any compatibility issues or settings I should try tweaking because it is important it gets sorted soon.

No I have two of them installed. I have also tried start up repair and booting from the windows install disk. They both say loading windows files but when it has done that it returns to starting windows and freezes.

I remember hearing two clicks when installing them. As shown in the motherboard picture, I put them in the blue slots. As that was were my last pair were.

Unplug Power Supply > Open Case/Cabinate > Thouch the case to disable Static Energy > Remove RAM Sticks > Put them into white dual Channel band :)

Unfortunately there is no difference. And when I put them in opposite colour slots, it just gets stuck in a boot cycle.

I said use White Dual channel band.Memory will not work if you one in blue & one in white :hot:

Is there anything else it could be? Because I'd rather check everything possible first. I don't have a problem in bios only when after post.

Probably HDD if RAM is good though.Do one more thing remove HDD Power cable + Sata Cable & replug COrrectly after 5 mins

Ok Now Check your RAM Sticks on different Motherboard or diff PC ( Friends, relatived etc. )If same problem persist you should get replacement of your RAM sticks under Warranty 😉

Will do, I am quit annoyed though. They are only a day old and neither seem to be working.

It seems Manufacturing Fault 🙁

I don't know if this is any help?

As you can see memtest freezes on this exact part every time, but it does recognise my ram.

I tried each piece in every slot separately. Every single time resulting in a boot cycle but when used together I can at least enter bios. But when I tried my old ram it boots fine with no problems. So I think I'm going to send them back as I don't think there is a compatibility issue. Could anyone suggested some ram for the same price or less which is 8gb, or should I try and buy another pair just once more?

Hey, I've gt the exact same problem as you on my Asus p7h55 and I've tried 3 different set of memory. It does seem that its a compatibility issue.
I heard that you can try in the bios option like xmp or docp if you have those but I couldn't get them work yet personnaly.

Mixing sticks (even the same exact model can be problematic), try booting with a single stick and go into BIOS, once there, change the DRAM voltage to 1.57 , save, shutdown, add second stick and then try, they may just not want to play and this often helps
