The CX uses cheap capacitors that have a high failure rate.

SeaSonic all the way, Corsair's CX Series uses cheap capacitors that short out relatively quick compared to any better quality PSU.
Do they? Do we have documented proof of this?
Me and others on this forum have had many failures with these units. I originally bought 5 of them(mainly due to the good reviews) for builds 4 failed in the first year(shelved the fifth). These where used in systems that would have lite loads and good airflow. While I may not have any documented proof(might be some out there but im don't have the time to waste) all I have in my experience with what I have had and seen. And what I have found is a PSU that seems to fail alot and I would not recommend using it.
