Me and others on this forum have had many failures with these units. I originally bought 5 of them(mainly due to the good reviews) for builds 4 failed in the first year(shelved the fifth). These where used in systems that would have lite loads and good airflow. While I may not have any documented proof(might be some out there but im don't have the time to waste) all I have in my experience with what I have had and seen. And what I have found is a PSU that seems to fail alot and I would not recommend using it.

I'm not saying they don't fail. I'm asking if you know they failed because of cheap capacitors. That's what you were implying.

Of the 2 I looked at one had a cap that was split and half burnt and the other had capacitors that were bulging and leaking. If i remember right the bad caps were capxons. Sorry i don't have pics and the units were sent off long ago.
