Corsair cx 750m cable question

Hi, i'm upgrading the psu on my computer to the cx 750m. I see it has a 8 pin cpu connector, but my mobo has a 4 pin cpu power. Does anyone know if the 8 pin can break into two 4 pins?

Yes , you break it apart to make it 4+4.

I have the CX 750M modular, you will find that most if not all weird functionality and power pin types are taken into account, the PSU is good and well supplied with all the cables you need. No need to worry buddy, all green to go! 😀
