Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB Kit with Asus P8Z77-V LK

I was wondering if these were compatible the RAM says its 1.5V so it should be, just making sure

yes, it will work just fine, but i must ask, why do you need it? is 16gb not enough? its totally fine if you need more, im just wondering why, and also how much are you paying for it? dominator platinum ram is usually overpriced and you are just buying the name, if you want 32gb then just but 2 more identical sticks to what you already have.

I do a lot of 3D work and work with the Adobe creative suite and the only reason Im asking this is because I can get some for cheaper that usual, I will be paying £70 instead of the usual £165, this is also cheaper than the vengeance. I agree with you that it is overpriced xD

lol, if it is brand new or barely used go for it, but make sure that it is at the same voltage, speed, and cas latency as your current ram 😛

The Speed of my current RAM is 1600Mhz and the latency is 10-10-10-27, but these new ones are 1866Mhz and have a latency of 9-10-9-27.. How much of a problem is this?

you can change them in the bios real easy, just change the new ram to 1600 and 10-10-10-27 and there shouldnt be any problems

I presume its better to go from 1866Mhz to 1600Mhz rather than overclocking my other RAM to 1866Mhz?

yup, ram doesnt like to overclock well.
