Hi

My memory died and Corsair is offering the following (see below Corsair e-mail) as a replacement. I paid $800 at the time for the 6 sticks of memory.

I just don't know if what is being offered to me is a fair exchange.

Thanks for your help.

Glenn

The OP didn't provide any info about his motherboard (most likely an Intel X58), but are newer kits compatible with his older socket 1366 motherboard? He didn't provide more info at http://atforums.mobi/msg.php?threadid=2433392&catid=47&rnum=5; a quick search for CMG6GX3M3A2000C7 shows that it hasn't been available for at least 3 or 4 years.

As clearly stated in the Remedies section at http://www.corsair.com/en-us/support/warranty, the OP can't ask for a full refund. The OP received that reply almost 2 months ago; what negotiations took place between April 8 and yesterday? Both posts don't include that info.

I've personally dealt with Corsair and I can't complain because they replaced a noisy PSU with a slightly better model.
