So I installed my corsair cooler about a year ago and have never had a problem, but literally overnight, it turned on a red led instead of white and now it's running too hot. I've tried resetting it onto the processor, but nothing has helped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check to make sure that the fan header is set to 100%/Full Power (see http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=168801).
If it is, then its possible that you have a failed pump; that's how it happens. You'll need to fill out a ticket at Corsair Support if you want to pursue RMA. As long as you have the receipt, they're pretty good about honoring warranty claims.

Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Quad core
ASRock ATX DDR4 LGA 1151 Motherboard
Geforce GTX 1050T video card
Hard drive is super old, so I'm not quite sure what that is

I didn't replace the thermal paste when I reinstalled it, so Imma do that, but the fans spin and I havent found any leaks. Like I said, it was literally overnight so the thermal paste shouldn't have been my main issue.
