I recently purchased my cosair h55 and my load temps are high about 15 mins in prime95 it reaches 75c on a i5-4460! I have the fan and radiator mounted at the back of my case and have the fan as a intake. It took me a while to install and I had it mounted then I unmounted it like 4 times to get it right so thermal paste might be a problem, I will change that see if it helps as idle temps are around 27 to 32c. I was also wondering what is the max pump speed I saw somewhere its like 2200 but in HWMonitor it only reports 1431-1473, I have the pump on my system fan and changed the bios setting to 100% but I don't know the max speed. I would like some answers as the manual isn't the best.

75c is actually very reasonable for that CPU, and quite safe. How hot does it get under the types of loads you actually regularly put your PC under?

Bear in mind that the H55 is a low-end liquid cooler and is probably not any more effective than a ~$25 tower cooler.

Low 50's when playing. You know anything about the pump speed? I'm worried I might damage it.

Make.sure the pump is connected to the psu and has CONSTANT 12v. NOT on a mobo header. The radiator fan can be connected to the mobo header and be varied if you want.

I have the h55, and I never see more than 72c after 30mins of prime and that's with a decent overclock and vcore at 1.28.
On average, around 50c on moderately cpu demanding games.
It's a decent enough cooler when set right.
