Okay, before you buy this cooler, I thought a thousand times, in order that I do not know but I took it there.

I give the first boot with it and stuff, turn off the system, unplug the block and I find myself with these fantastic images:

What do you think? Send the cooler for trash or go to the store to exchange for another of air cooling?
CPU - i7 2600k

PS - By the way, anyone know a reset or a master key to the UEFI pw a asrock z68 Gen3?

Looks like you might have a leak, but I'm not sure how that would be the case since you'd typically only see marks like that on the bottom of where the cooler would attach since gravity would pull any leaked coolant down. It's hard to tell what those marks are from, but the fact that they look like they are dried over your MB traces, that can't be a good thing. Does the cooler seem to have any traces or markings like these?

This is odd...and not sure what to make of what those marks are without more information.

contact corsair, yell the lungs off of your chest cavity 😛

 it looks like a leak and what may be as if your mobo pcb soaked up the liquid...strange as this could happen when you had the cooler plate side mounted onto the mobo while the mobo was laying flat.

my opinion though.

Sinceraly, i want to go trade h60 for another air cooler, but i dont know a good cooler for i7 2600k, with bitfenix shinobi case, and my build is full black.

You can't be serious right? Thats not a leak. Look at the amount of fluid staining...its too small. All four corners of the block...so your computer defies gravity then right?

I would bet its either oil that was on the screws from the factory that was heated and by capillary action was pulled to the mobo. Again though, not a leak.

I think so... but anyways, today im gonna go to the shop for fix this.

That's a pretty solid concept...never thought of that one.

Good to hear- I've heard of these units leaking from the factory, but the way it looked, it would be next to impossible to get markings like that depending on how your board was oriented during any testing or final location.

Interesting conclusion though...I never would have though that was the cause, but wasn't entirely sold it was a leak, either (considering all 4 markings).
