I've tried this solution:

"navigate to this path in Registry Editor: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\VID_1B1C&PID_0C04

You should find one or possibly more folders of random numbers, letters, and ampersands. Under each of these folders will be a "Device Parameters" folder which has the following four important strings:
AllowIdleIrpInD3 = 1
DeviceSelectiveSuspended = 1
EnhancedPowerManagementEnabled = 1
SelectiveSuspendEnabled = 1

Change each of these to a value of 0 (zero) and reboot."

However in "device parameters" i only see "(default)". Also, for me it's VID_1B1C&PID_0C02 instead of ...OCO4

If you have a Z87/Z97 motherboard, there may be be compatibility issue when connecting to the integrated USB on those boards until after a firmware update to the H80i, but you can't update the firmware without allowing Corsair Link to detect the device. So that's a problem. The solution is to install Corsair Link on a second PC, such as a laptop (borrow one if needed) and while the water-cooled PC is powered on, connect the USB from the H80i cooler to the second PC. It will detect the H80i normally because it doesn't have the compatibility issue. Update the firmware in Corsair Link by going to Options tab at the top, then Devices tab on the left, then Check for Updates. Once you've updated the firmware on the H80i (v1.1.3 as of Aug 2015), then you can plug the USB back into the original PC and things will likely work. I personally used this technique with great success.
