corsair K70 rgb rapidfire does not connect to pc

Hello guys,

Just bought this new corsair keyboard and I am typing on my old one yet 😀. The new one does not seem to connect when I am connecting the usb cable with the keyboard sign on it to a usb 3.0. Also I downloaded the corsairs CUE software and it doesn't detect the keyboard either. Tried some soft reset ways. Tried to plug both keyboard cables to usb 2.0 still nothing. Tried to connect it to my laptop still nothing...

My pc :
MB: z170i pro gaming asus
CPU: i7 6700k
os:win 10 64 bit
all drivers is up to date...
Also will try to update bios...
don't know what else to do. If nothing works gonna return it to merch...

I can get mine to connect but I am also having issues doesn't seem to be connecting all the time but it still lights up like it has power... I'm trying to diagnose weather this is a keyboard problem or a usb port problem. My thinking is that it may just be a keyboard problem with the readings I have found here online.
