corsair k95 made a power surge

so my corsair k95 made a power surge and now its stuck in BIOS or smth there is light in it but no keys work. every thing else works, but not my keyboard no matter which port i put it in

Well it used too much power then disconnected and got stuck

I don't know how it could use too much power as it is designed to draw a certain amount unless there is a short.

Have you tried switching the keyboard to one of the other 3 available BIOS using the switch on the back of the keyboard (it is near the USB cable)?

The keyboard used too much power?
Is that even possible, the most it can use over the usb port is 5V and 3A(I think?)

i have tried everything. maybe it wasnt my keyboard which used the power but it just said something did something did

Have you tested the K95 RGB on a different system? And made sure both cords are plugged in?

i just did and the keyboard is broKeN ;(

Then it looks like a surge killed it. I suggest contacting Corsair and see what they are able to do. Possibly RMA it for a replacement.

i am trying to claim warranty, thanks for helping me tho 😀
