corsair m65 pro problem

Whenever my corsair k65 rapidfire does a lighting action, ripple fort example my mouse freezes up and I am unable to move the cursor across the screen. I dont have this problem when the lighting affect is static, only when it is a wave or ripple. I have uninstalled corsair utility engine and unplugged the mouse and keyboard.

Which version of CUE are you using?
In the short term, the answer is to remove the wave/ripple effect. However, with my current version of iCue, I'm not seeing any issues at all and I do have the typing ripple effect on ... rippling through the keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, headset stand, fans and strips. No issues.

I just downloaded it off the corsair website. Shouldn't that be the latest version? However I am also unable to download the latest update for my mouse and keyboard for some reason. It starts the download but then says that it failed.
