Corsair Memory 600 Watt be Sufficient

Hi.

I am building a new system with the following build on a tight budget will the Corsair Memory 600w Builder Series 600watt psu be sufficienet in both power and the amount of connections on it to power.

Intel Core I5 3570k Processor
Artic Cooling Freezer I30 Heatsink
Asus GTX 660TI 967Mhz Direct CU II OC Graphics Card
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz Memory
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme Sound Card
Seagate Barracuda 1TB Sata 6GB HDD
Intel 60GB 330 Series MLC Sata 6GB SDD
Pioneer DVD-RW 24x Sata Optical Drive
Antec 300 case which has 2x 120mm fans installed
2x Akasa 120mm Crystal Blue Case Fans

My budget is £860, I want a fairly quiet system purely for gaming.

Corsair Memory 600w? I don't think that's a "thing" hehe?

However, any decent (all Corsair PSU's are fairly decent) 600w PSU should be fine with a GTX 660 Ti

The 600w versions of Corsair PSU's I believe are the Gaming Series (GS) and the Builder series.

Builder series would be perfectly fine, don't bother paying the premium for the GS one.

EDIT:

660Ti only really requires a 500w PSU - so you go for the 500w Corsair PSU if you wanted to save a little money.

Sound card is pretty unnecessary/"useless" too - I'd be surprised if you could tell a difference between it and the on-board sound from the motherboard - if there even is any difference

Just habit to put one in a new system I hear what you say though and the psu is Corsair Memory 600W Builder Series CX V2 ATX PSU

You're asking the wrong question about the PSU. Using a PSU that's"just big enough" is like driving your car in first gear all the time. It will work fine for a while but is sure to fail prematurely. Use the highest wattage QUALITY PSU you can afford. Think of it as an insurance policy.

NO. No you don't want to go too high either, becsause you lose efficiency. Ideally, your PC at peak, should be about 75% of the power supply's capabilities. It's why you don't put a Lamborghini V-12 in a station wagon. Its a waste.
