Corsair ram problem

I bought a 16gb kit of vengeance and one stick doesn't work if I bought a 8gb stick of the same speed will it work?

No way of knowing. It has a lifetime warranty why would you pay for more of it, just send it back

Don't mix sticks. Send them back as you have warranty and get more.
