[SOLVED] Corsair RGB Pro 3200 MHz CL16 OCing?

I bought a 2x16GB Crucial Ballistix Kit 3600 MHz CL16 to go with my 5800X on MSI X570 MAG and was hoping for them to be DR, after checking the code from outside the box they are SR so they go back. At the same time I found a great offer for two kits of Corsair CMW16GX4M2C3200C16. So it'd be 4x8GB 3200 MHz CL16. They must be SR which means I'm good with 4 DIMMs. Question is what are the chances they will do 3600 MHz? I'd bump the voltage to 1.45v. Maybe someone has experience with this RAM.

I'm asking because just bumping the clocks is much easier than fiddling with timings and if that doesn't work 3200 MHz CL16 is far from bad.

Mixing 2 kits isn’t even guaranteed to work let alone overclock. Also running 4 dimms can limit the maximum stable frequency.

Well I was told to either do 2 DR modules or 4 SR modules but not 2 SR modules.

If you want 4 dimms get a single kit that’s on the motherboard QVL list

I'm not aware of any 4 DIMM kits but the QVL List says I'm good with XMP and 4 DIMMs.

The QVL will list specific kit numbers that are 4 dimms.
