[SOLVED] Corsair rgb

I have bought a spec 06 rgb corsair case with the rgb controller on the back. My question is can I use this to control the rgb on an additional ll120 rgb fan I have installed or do I need to get some sort of controller that attaches to the spare rgb port on my motherboard (Asus x470 pro) as I don't believe I can plug the fan directly to the motherboard rgb header. Any tips?

Thats the controller. It looks like its a more basic one designed just for the front of the case. For the LL120s you need the lighting node pro.

So any idea if I can delete that then and run everything from the lighting node including case. I guess that the best way?

Depends on the connection but most of Corsairs stuff is compatible. For example my 570X would allow me to replace the HD fan controller with a Lighting Node Pro and still use my case controls for the fans.
