Im a bit confused about the whole RM series that Corsair launched. Is the RM series better than the HX series? If so, should I get a RM PSU?

The Seasonic X is the basis for the Corsair AX series. Not the AXi but the regular AX series is made by Seasonic and they are rebranded Seasonic X units. The HX is made by by CWT except the HX 650 that is made by Seasonic. ( confusing huh? :) )

Corsair considers the AX ( Seasonic X ) and AXi ( Flextronics made ) lines to be their highest end units.

All XFX units are made by Seasonic and their 80 Plus Gold certified modular models are also rebranded Seasonic X units. The Corsair AX usually costs more than a name brand Seasonic while the XFX usually costs less.

My choice is a Seasonic X over just about anything else.
