Corsair RM1000 PSU

Hi , i know my PSU RM1000 , have a feature to turn on/off the fan auuto if he need it , my question is , if i need to conect the cable C-LINK powersupply to motherboard for this feature or this dont matter ?? , i ask beacuse i have like 2 month with my power supply , and i never see turn on the fan

my spec

i7 3930k
asus rampage IV extreme
690 GTX
H100i
16 GM ram
SSD for main and 2 TB for storage
display temp
DvD/Bluray Burn

You have to put a decent load on that power supply , to get the fan to run.

Light to medium loads will not activate the fan.

so what are you mean , i dont need to conect the cable C-LINK for the fan can turn on ?

that the problem i dont wanna use , i have full USB motherboard conected for others device , only in a necesary sircustance i disconect one for conect the C-LINK cable , i only want to know if i need C-LINK for the fan turn on/off feature , or the PSU have a sensor inside detected when he is runing hot the fan automatically tun on ?

The PSU will still function properly without using the link.
