Question Corsair RM650x and MSI x470 Gaming Plus, extra motherboard 4 pin connector needed?

Note:The MSI X470 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.

I am new to this, of course, and need to know if there is a workaround for this problem or if it is even a issue. Can someone explain this to me?

No. The onyl time the extra pin is needed is when you start getting into the extreme overclocks. But at that point you also have to get into the more hardcore cooling.
