Hello, i just bought this psu off Amazon and i was wondering, according to this image:

Qbn7eIc.jpg

Does the 8 pin cpu cable goes to the socket in the upper right? I ask because they are 3 8 pin sockets in the row and it's labeled as 6+2 pci-e & 4+4 cpu.

Or does it implies i can use any of the 3 sockets for the cpu cable? and if this is the case, which of the 3 8 pin sockets should i use to plug the CPU cable?

I only found out of this after the psu was shipped, I downloaded the "manual" but that thing doesn't clarify anything.

@photonboy off the motherboard end i am aware, but the psu has 3 identical 8 pin sockets, now @SR-71 Blackbird says that it is as the blue arrow indicates, but in some other forums that i asked they said that any of the 3 8 pin sockets can be used for either the 4+4 cpu cable or the 6+2 pci-e cable, for now i will go with SR-71

@photonboy i am not asking for the motherboard's end, i am asking for the psu's end, i am asking which of the 3 8 pin sockets should i use for the (and yes it) eps/atxv12 4+4 cpu cable

Edit, Thank you SR-71 it's all what i wanted to know :)

for future reference you can just look at the connectors and how they are keyed. if they are identical then you can use either one on the PSU.
