Recently I heard that Corsair RM750 is not that good. ''The secondary capacitors used in it are very bad, and known to fail easily. Also has bad heat issues that can lead to thermal shutdowns when pushed anywhere near rated capacity'' 12 hours ago I bought the RMx version, so I don't know if that model has the same problems or not. Somebody can confirm this?

I need a new PSU for my mid-range computer (i5-590k, 16gb and gtx 960) I can't overclock my cpu / gpu with my current PSU.

Much better platform than the original RM you'll be fine very solid.

Corsair RMx series power supplies give you extremely tight voltage control, quiet operation, Gold-certified efficiency, and a fully modular cable set. Built with all Japanese 105°C capacitors, they’re a great choice for high performance PCs where reliability is essential. 80 PLUS Gold efficiency reduces operating cost and excess heat, and Zero RPM fan mode ensures virtual silence at low and medium loads. And, the fully modular DC cables make builds and upgrades easy, with clean, great-looking results.
