Question Corsair RM850 noise

Good evening!

Lately I have noticed that my corsair RM850 of 5-6 years is making noise comparable to an old HDD writing data. I am under the impression that its the fan showing signs of failure. With PSU prices absolutely insane at the moment I would like to see if anyone has replaced the fan in this exact model. I am hoping its a simple pin connector and it being an easy swap. I'm just wanting to confirm this before I open it up. It also appears that the model I have is out of warranty according to the website. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have noticed that when the pc is off there is a low buzzing noise so I guess that rules out fan coil whine.

You mean it rules out "fan noise" and means it's "coil whine"?

I'm guessing it may be a cap causing the buzzing when the system is off?

So.. While the PC is in standby, go ahead and unplug all of your USB devices. Does the noise go away or change?

The USB devices has been disconnected and there is still a low buzz

Update: checked back qn hour later with every usb device unplugged and the buzzing stopped.
