Corsair SF600 vs RM650x for this build

I've asked something similar to this before, but now I want to ask again in a different way. With this build, would I have any issues with noise if I used a Corsair SF600 playing WoW on Ultra? That usually means a 50% load on the processor, never going above 50C.

I ask this, because I would much rather have a smaller power supply, but I currently own a very noisey Corsair CX600M, and I don't want to repeat the same mistake twice. Keep in mind its fan will be pointed upwards, allowing for better airflow. It might get some heat from the processor, but not much as it is watercooled.

Build
Case SilverStone Sugo SG13
Motherboard ASUS H110i-Plus D3
Processor Intel Core i5-6600 (not overclocked)
Cooler Cooler Master Seidon 120V ver2
Graphics NVIDIA GTX 1070

Solution

Listen to Blackbird. The RMx is a better PSU. And a bigger case is better as it will have better airflow, ergo things will be less noisy.

I thought it could take up to 160mm of power supply length. I've decided to get another, much bigger case. I wanted to ask if I should still get the SF600 over the RM650x, so my system is future proof. I plan on choosing other size decreasing components, such as replacing my SSD with M.2. The price of the two power supplies has only a $10 difference, and from what I understand the SF600 is more efficient, almost reaching Platinum. I want to keep this power supply for many years.

Any specific reason? I also went through the power supply calculator, and it says I only need 336W from a power supply. Do you think I could get away with a 450W power supply if it's 92% efficiency?

Well, the SF only comes in 450 and 600. I'm not really sure why I should go for the RMx series. The SF series never gets loud, even under load.

Better quality? The SF should be better quality, but have less cooling ability. I'll probably get a bigger case, but it's very likely I'll go back to a smaller case. Even if I stick with a bigger case, might as well save space, especially because the case I'm getting only has 170mm clearance.

Unfortunately that's not really useful to me. I want to know how it's a better PSU. Both the small and large case have similar layout, with direct access for every fan, so airflow is not an issue.

While the SF is a very good PSU for it's form factor, the miniaturisation does not come without compromises. Also, the single fact that the RMx does't spin it's fan until high load levels/temperature is reason enough to choose it ove the SF if not facing size concearns. And theres no way the the SF is quieter under high load. It has a smaller fan, so it must spin it faster.

It's more efficient, but as I said, it doesn't have as great cooling. The SF doesn't spin its fan until higher load either. That's why I'm wondering what my load will be with a Intel i5-6600 and a GTX 1070. According to the power supply calculator, my build will never go above 350W.

That may be so, but it's good to give yourself some overhead. Ideally, one would get a PSU that would be able to drive an SLI setup of your current GPU just in case.

I think that'd be way overkill. My motherboard can only take one GPU, so graphics cards would have to increase 2x in power usage in the next 5 years. At 92% efficiency, shouldn't 450W be enough? There shouldn't be any noise problems. I've read thorough reviews that say the SF450W is quiet, even on high load. What I need to figure out is how much I need to power my PC.
