is thee any difference between their system select line and their standard range?

just looking at specs, their the same. is the system select just to garantee 100% compatibility and vendor approval?

I have them Corsair Select modules and it works great on my system. Even done some okay overclocking with it.

Yes, the system select guarantees compatibility as well. However, it's not as good quality as their specialty memory like XMS, XMS2, etc.
