Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2400mhz 2x4gb @ 667mhz?

Hi,

Just wondering what settings i should be using because this doesn't seem right? that speed would only be 1333mhz?

Ive tried using XMP setting in bios with the correct voltage but the system just crashes.

this is the memory im using

cpu i5 3570k (standard atm until i can fix this usually oc to 4ghz)
mb: asrock extreme6 z77

Leave DRAM at defaults for the moment and OC your CPU to about 4.2 then try enabling XMP and selecting Profile 1, will prob also need to raise CPUVTT to about 1.16. The 3570K needs a decent OC to run 2400 sticks or other options is very high VTT and DRAM voltage and that doesn't often work with the CPU at stock
