Question Corsair vengeance pro rgb 3200mhz running at lik 2133

I just upgraded my pc today to ryzen and so to ddr4 also. I bough corsair vengeance 3200mgh 16gb. the size matches and everything except for the speed being shown in bios and other software is 2133 instead of 3200. do I just chaneg it in the bios?

Yes, you have to enable XMP (or DOCP depending on what it's called) in BIOS. Sometimes if you're swapping RAM, I have to set RAM back to Auto, save and restart, then enable XMP/DOCP again for it to properly take effect.

What motherboard and CPU do you have btw? Not all chipsets can run DDR4 3200.

It's a msi bios. When I look at the memory setting it says both xmp profile have 3200 but up top it still says ddr speed 2133

I just turned on one of the 2 available xmp profiles, both were set to 3200. And now after restarting bios said 3200mhz
