[SOLVED] Corsair Vengeance ram not running at full speed MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

I recently ran a computer benchmark on my 2nd pc and realized my corsair vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C15 ram wasn't running right at all. On user benchmark it stated: 16GB DIMM DDR4 2133 MHz clocked @ 1067 MHz.
Since then, I've tried running both xmp profiles, attempted all the "try it" options (before and after BIOS update) and can't get my pc to boot. I've also tried just having one stick in as well as manual timings and it still wouldn't boot.
I really don't know what the issue could be so if anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

That cpu won't run 3000mhz ram. Not without a lot of messing around with timings anyway.

I know I won't be able to get up to 3000 with my ryzen but I don't get why it's clocking at 1067MHz, that's really low. I did all the "try it" timings and now it won't even boot at 2133. Could there be a compatibility issue?

I had the same problem with the rgb pro 3600 and 2700x. The xmp profile isn't compatible with the cpu! The memory will only run at its base clock. You have to manually set the dram voltage to 1.35v and set the speed to 2666 which is the maximum your cpu supports then play with the timings 16 18 18 35 is whar corsair say for 2666mhz but I did all this. Spent hours trying all different settings but my memory was never stable. Even when I could get windows to boot. My gaming performance was terrible. In the end I got a new cpu. Now my ryzen tuned 3600 memory runs at 3600 stable with xmp profile with a intel cpu. From what I've read all over the Web is any pre 3xxx series ryzen is a nightmare with memory because the memory controller is crap. Also some boards only report the actual data rate of the memory so 1067mhz is the speed but as its ddr double data rate its effective speed is 2134mhz.
