Question Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB 3200MHZ not getting over clocked in a supported system

I recently built a pc, and then I wanted to over clock my memory to the advertised 3200mhz but it did not run at that speed even after enabling XMP in bios, I also noticed that the packaging says Intel XMP verified but online it says that it is Intel/AMD.

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
GPU: Gigabyte Eagle 12GB Radeon Rx 6700
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb 3200mhz

Is the RAM in slots A2 & B2?

No it is in slot 1 and 2

I tried the other 2 slots and still runs at 2133MHZ instead of 3200MHZ even after XMP enabled

Are the other 2 slots what the manual shows to be the proper slots?

Do you have the proper bios?

Was this ram a kit of 2 sticks or 2 separate sticks?

yeah they were in the right slots and it was ram kit of 2

You need to check what bios level you have against what the mobo maker offers.

Perhaps try one stick of ram in the proper slot and see if it will OC.

Then try the other stick.

It just worked now the ram runs at 3200mhz, I tried again to overclock the ram after the update and it worked! Thank you so much Bob.B for your help
