Hey there brothers, just finished my PC build but cannot start it as the psu's power cord is foreign based, cannot use right here in India. So, please help, should I buy an Indian power cord or go with an universal adapter ? Also, on Amazon, the adapters say 6 amp but my psu power cord says 13 amp. So, friends please help!

Solution
Actually, you do have a choice.
For instance, if you can buy a decent made lead then buy one locally. The problem with adaptors, unless you buy a decent one, it will cause you problems.
So the plug is rated @ 13amp but should only have a smaller fuse (as you don't get 13 amp PSUs).

Since it is 450W that equates to just over 2 amps (450w/220v) so a 6amp Adaptor would be fine, as long as it is good quality.

+ElectrO_90 Thanks brother, I choose to go with an adapter. Does this 6 amp looks fine?-https://www.amazon.in/Travel-Universal-Multi-Protector-Indicator/dp/B079CJYKCC
Again huge thanks for clearing things up! =)

It looks OK.
You could always Cut off the UK Plug and fit an Indian Style Plug - that way you get the best cable and a plug that will fit correctly into your sockets.
I see India is 220/50 so that's all good.

I know the OP said something about wanting to use the cable that came with the PSU. Which doesn't really make sense to me. Why plug a "good" cable into a possible suspect adapter? Any "goodness" from the cable is now gone. A cable is a simple bundle of wires. As long as they are thick enough there is nothing else to worry about. And I've never seen a 20G or 22G wire cable. It just seems odd to me that he wants to buy a possible suspect adapter. Which only adds another possible point of failure and if the build quality is bad a voltage spike that can damage something.
