8gb ram
500gb segate hdd
Corsair vs450.

Can I run gtx 970 WITHOUT damaging it?

^ you are best booting up cpu-z & letting us know the exact motherboard model - sone if the 500 series have standard boards , some dont.

Also current psu model thats in there.
