Question Corsair x vs e

Considering a Corsair 750 PSU…

Planned an RM750x at $119.99…an RM750e at $99.99 has been suggested as an alternate. Is the change to the e worth the savings? Both are 80+ Gold certified.

If I recollect correctly, the RMx units have Japanese Caps with larger 140mm fans and 10 yrs warranty, whereas the RMe units have Taiwanese Cps with 120mm fans and 7yrs warranty.
The RMx unit should be better.

That gave me the clues as to what to look for. You are correct on fan size, but both seem to have a 10 year warranty. The RMe is described as the middle range choice, with the RMx the higher end…that makes the decision a bit easier, quality matters too much in the PSU.

For solved, there should be a Trophy sign somewhere on the left or right panel.

No. Even RMx 2015 has a 10 year warranty.

Its not about the RMx, its about the RMe. Infact they still have 7yrs as per Corsair website.
