Greetings readers.
I am here to ask about how toresolve my issue with my motherboard and the new RAM i bought not so long ago.

I am using an Asus M4A785T-M motherboard
With Corsair XMS3 DDR3 2gb 1333 Mhz RAM.

I bought:
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 6GB 1600 Mhz RAM.
However, when i start up the computer after exchanging the ram the screens tell me that there're no picture signal so i'm assuming that my motherboard ain't recognizing the RAM and i'd like to ask why it doesn't and how i can resolve this issue.

If it does matter for you then i'll type down my computer specs here.
Motherboard: Asus M4A785T-M
RAM: XMS3 DDR3 2GB 1333Mhz CM3X1024-1333C9
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 250 3,0Ghz 2MB cache
Power: AXP-630P12P
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTS 450 1gb

Thanks in advance and i hope that you can help me solving this issue as fast as possible.
Cheers

Natuarly i took all of the 2gb chips out and replaced them with the 6gb ones.
MemOK! button. Haven't actually seen that on the motherboard.
If there is one then i haven't seen it.

I have 3x2gb of RAM.
And you say overclocking it.
How would i perform the overclock so that it can run with the new RAM?

Well, for 1 you are using triple channel memory in a dual channel memory board.

You are using 1.65V RAM designed for the x58 chipset on an AMD board.

You are using 1600MHz RAM in a board that can only take up to 1333MHz non overclocked.

If you look at newegg.com under that RAM it says "Compatible with Intel Core i7 series CPU for Intel X58 Motherboard"

And if you look at the memory QVL list on Asus website / your manual it is not on there.

If you can return that RAM I would do so, and get something off of that list.
