Good day everyone! I finally upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 last night but I'm seriously frustrated with This Cortana thing. I did adjust the privacy permissions and I did get the microphone to work BUT there is an issue. When Cortana does not respond to, "Hey Cortana", I open the Cortana settings and on the top line there is an option to, "Check the Microphone." When I click on this, a new dialog window pops up with a list of all of the available microphone inputs. Since mine is a Logitech (older model, about 6 years), I selected, "Microphone-USB Audio Device No jack information available". I know this is the correct one because when I unplug the microphone and plug it back in, it will appear on the list and disappear. Anyway, I hit the next button and it offers to, "Set up the Mic". I click on that and it then starts a Mic Calibration whereby I read some text. As I'm reading the text, I can clearly see the green bar respond to my voice so I know it works. Even before I complete the sentence to read, another window pops up titled, "Speech." It reads, "Troubleshooting has completed." Under the, "Problems Found", it states, " Your microphone might need to be set up" and to the right it has the word, "Fixed" with a green check mark. I close that window but when I try using, "Hey Cortana" nothing happens. Oddly enough, if I click on the Cortana Mic button, it will respond by dictating everything I say into the search box. So why will it not respond to the, "Hey Cortana?"
