Cortana/Windows Search not working

My Cortana/Windows Search will not return results at all when I type something. Just comes up with a blank box and nothing happens. If I go to use Cortana (via voice or text) it goes to search but then closes on its own. I have tried Powershell scan and that returned no errors. I am not sure of what else I can try?

Sometime Cortana or Search box doesn’t work. You just can’t click on Cortana and you get error message like ‘Critical Error – Start Menu and Cortana aren’t working. We’ll try to fix it the next time you sign in‘. Here are some solutions;
> Re-login to Microsoft account
> Kill and Restart the Cortana
> Disable outdated Anti-Virus
>Windows Search Troubleshooter

Tried all of that before and it didnt work. The window itself would appear but no text or options and then it would automatically close. Seems to have fixed itself for now though
