I've been looking at these 2 headsets, both are within my price range. I'm lost between the Dolby 7.1 (Corsair) the DTS:X (Turtle Beach)
1. Are the DTS:X worth it?
2. I've seen bad reviews on the Voids, is there someone out there can say otherwise?
3. Battery life is important to me, both of these have a nice battery life over 14 hours.
4. Which has better sound quality?

I need advice

All there of them are wireless so any and/or all sound processing will take place at the transmitter/USB dong;e or inline USB sound card while all of them will produce the same virtual surround sound soundstage. The only added feature you're getting out of the three you've stated is the fact that the Void comes in RGB(if you're looking at the SE version).

Essentially each ear cup has one driver so you're having a stereo sound input emulated to give off a 7.1 virtual output. The battery duration for each headset is given on their respective product page though the Void's battery longevity between charges isn't mentioned.
