Hello, I am building a pc for the first time and ordered a 3 tb hard drive. When i got it it was cold to the touch from being shipped in cold weather. I am concerned it could be damaged from the cold weather.
It shouldn't be damaged by cold unless you brought it into a humid area where condensation in the drive may form. The minimum temperatures for non operating drives normally are about -40 to -50 degrees celsius so you should be absolutely fine.
