Could someone help clarify what my GPU name is?

I have an Inspiron 17R 5737 laptop. I'm trying to see if it has a GPU decent enough for certain games, but I'm a bit confused. Under "Display Adapters," which I understand to usually show the GPU, all I see is "Intel(R) HD Graphics Family." Could someone please explain what this entails, and maybe how it stacks up to other GPUs?

That just means you have the integrated graphics, which will limit your gaming capabilities quite a bit. That's a general use laptop more than a gaming one.

Hello... if you have a i5-4200U then your GPU is imbeded and is a Intel® HD Graphics 4400 this is good for internet and HD streaming... Gaming will have mixed/poor results depending on the APP.
