Could someone help me with downloading Kali Linux

Could someone please give me a step-by-step process to downloading Kali Linux? I would really like to use this OS but i cannot figure out how to download it properly.

It is not much of an os. Meant for intrusion testing.

Kali is not really meant to be an installed OS you use all the time.
Generally, you put it on a USB stick or DVD and boot from that. It is generally used for penetration and security testing.
Not something you 'use' all the time.

If you're looking to get into Linux, there are much easier ways to start out..

This is all true. Once you download Kali do not attempt to install it. It is pen testing OS and it is meant to run live off of a USB stick.
