i have this old laptop

I intend to buy

ASUS VG248QG

1) Could the ASUS VG248QG monitor work as a 2nd monitor on my old laptop?


2)Is compatible with my old graphics card?


i don't play games, just this super monitor is now in Greece at a low price

Linked laptop makes no mention of having an HDMI port so I'm not sure if you linked the right one... but if yours does and is that old then you don't need to buy a gaming monitor, you'll be limited to 60hz so get one that has good colors and a quick response time. Also check if your laptops gaming GPU even works thru the external port. Some only connect tot he built in display.
