Been experiencing digitizing and hiccups in my sound that sounds like a crashing soundscard while playing music, movies, or basically any time sound is played but at random. Its not frequent enough to pattern what causes it although anything pertaining to flash seems to aggravate the hell out of it but its not singled out to it such as winamp or any dvd does that same thing.
What I've done:
Removed my Audigy card = no change
Enabled Onboard sound and use it (which means i moved cables) = no change
Formated computer and changed from single harddrive to raid 0 and tried first without the audigy card then with = no virus or driver issues and same issue
Problem came right back. There is nothing that indicates why its worse at times, no increased cpu usage, no increased ram usage, disabling windows sound control doesn't seem to make an apparaent changes.
Could this be a dying mobo or processor?
Here are two examples I recorded of the sound glitches taking place.
